Azhar Safwan Abdullah

Azhar Safwan Abdullah is a skilled engineering professional with significant experience in manufacturing and process engineering. Currently serving as Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process at Celestica since February 2024, Azhar previously held the position of Product Engineer at Flex from January 2020 to February 2024, where responsibilities included providing dedicated support for product engineering issues and analyzing production data for yield improvement. Prior to that, Azhar served as Equipment & Process Engineer at Flex, programming ASM pick and place machines and supporting new product introductions. Azhar's earlier experience includes a role as Process Engineering Research Associate at Universiti Putra Malaysia, focusing on research data compilation and regulatory compliance, and as a Research Intern at the Institute of Bioscience UPM, conducting literature reviews and performing extractions for natural food colorants. Azhar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biochemical Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia, obtained between 2014 and 2018.
