Fernando Rodriguez

Fernando Rodriguez is an accomplished Automation Engineer with extensive experience in surface mount technology (SMT) and manufacturing processes, currently serving as Automation Engineer III (SMT SME) at Celestica since September 2021. Prior roles include key positions at Fujitsu Network Communications, Panasonic Automotive, OSRAM, and Sanmina, where significant contributions were made to process improvement, defect reduction, and manufacturing efficiency. With a strong background in design for manufacturability (DFM), continuous improvement initiatives, and project leadership in SMT implementation, Fernando has a proven track record of delivering results across various engineering functions. Fernando holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Valle del Bravo University and has furthered education at Georgia Tech in Board Assembly Research.
