Levent Kaan

Levent Kaan, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in manufacturing operations and engineering leadership, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Operations at Celestica since March 2024, overseeing a team of over 250 individuals in Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Operations. With extensive teaching experience, Levent has been an Adjunct Professor at both Southern Methodist University and The University of Texas at Dallas, specializing in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Management. Previous roles include Senior Manager at Lockheed Martin, Assoc. Director at Raytheon Intelligence & Space, and Director of Operations at TRU Simulation + Training, highlighting a strong background in continuous improvement methodologies including Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Levent holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University, complemented by multiple degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.
