Wiwik Watanabe

Wiwik Watanabe currently serves as the Chief Technical Operations Officer at Loyal since November 2025. Previously, Watanabe was the Vice President of Technical Operations at Coherus BioSciences from February 2020 to July 2025, where leadership led to the launch of four biologic combination products within one year and oversight of CMC governance across QA, validation, and manufacturing. Other notable roles include Head of Core Technology at PAX Labs, Inc. and Senior Director, Technical Product Leader at Dermira, Inc., where efforts focused on CMC for biologics and small molecules and enhancing vendor partnerships. Watanabe's earlier experience includes senior positions at Allergan, MAP Pharmaceuticals, and Novo Nordisk Delivery Technologies, complemented by a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
