Sunslay Masaraure

Sunslay Masaraure possesses extensive experience in IT security and network administration within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the IT Security Team Lead at Cell C since February 2023, Sunslay leads a team of engineers focusing on Cisco and Checkpoint infrastructure, routing/switching, access control with Cisco Identity Services Engine, Mimecast, and identity management. Previously, as a Network Security Specialist at Cell C from 2015 to 2022, Sunslay managed similar responsibilities. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Infrastructure Manager at PwC South Africa and Information Security Officer at ReportStar Technologies. Sunslay began an IT career as a Network Administrator at Lafarge Cement and has foundational experience as an Attachee at IBM. Education credentials include an M.Sc in Project Management from the University of Pretoria and a B.Eng (Honours) in Electronic Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology.
