Youngjin Kim, PhD, is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in cellular therapy and stem cell research. Currently serving as Scientist III at Cellares since April 2023, Youngjin Kim focuses on CAR-T process development, specializing in magnetic selection and upstream processes. Previously, as a Stem Cell Technologist at Stanford Health Care, expertise encompassed human cellular therapy product manufacturing and project management in clinical trials related to kidney and islet transplantation. A postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, contributions included the development of CRISPR gene editing systems and advancements in gene modification protocols for human pluripotent stem cells. Youngjin Kim's academic foundation includes a PhD in stem cell biology from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Chung-Ang University.
