Sophia Ries

Sophia Ries currently serves as the Head of Industrial Engineering at cellcentric GmbH & Co. KG since May 2024. Previously, from August 2017 to April 2024, Sophia held the position of Head of Department for Welding & Assembly at voestalpine, where responsibilities included managing over 50 employees, supporting operational management, and leading various strategic and project initiatives. Sophia's career also includes positions at Daimler AG, where work ranged from procurement as a student to contributing to employee motivation research, and at Robert Bosch GmbH in sales roles. Academically, Sophia completed a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Project Management at Nürtingen-Geislingen University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the same institution, in addition to studies at London Metropolitan University.
