Heidi Stensmyren

Heidi Stensmyren, MD MBA, currently serves as an affiliated member at Karolinska Institutet and a member of the full council at Sophiahemmet. Stensmyren holds the position of Chief Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer at Cellcolabs since April 2023, alongside a role as Past President of the World Medical Association, which advocates for ethical standards in healthcare. Additionally, Stensmyren is a board member at Swecare and previously chaired Försäkringskassan, Sweden's Social Insurance Agency. With extensive experience in women's health and management at Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset and various roles in national committees, Stensmyren's educational background includes a Medical Doctor degree from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and dual MBAs from Stockholm School of Economics.
