Kathleen Borrelli

Kathleen Borrelli has a diverse work experience in the field of preclinical operations and animal care. Kathleen began their career as an Animal Care Technician at Primedica Corporation in 1999. Kathleen then worked as an Aquatic Toxicology Technician at Springborn Laboratories, Inc. in 1999-2000. Kathleen continued to develop their skills in animal care and moved on to AVANT Immunotherapeutics, where they served as an Animal Care Technician in 2000 and then as a Vivarium Supervisor from 2001 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Celldex Therapeutics as a Vivarium Supervisor until 2010, and then progressed to roles including Preclinical Operations Supervisor, Manager, and eventually Senior Manager. In these roles, Kathleen was responsible for various committees such as the Institutional Biosafety Committee, the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, and the Safety Committee. Kathleen also handled hazardous material shipments, updated reports, and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements.
