Giuseppe Labate

Giuseppe Falvo D'Urso Labate serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Cellex - Cell Expansion Devices srl since June 2018, focusing on the development and commercialization of an affordable, user-friendly bioreactor for suspension cell culture, primarily targeting public and private research laboratories and the red biotech sector. In addition to this role, Giuseppe has been the Chief Executive Officer of EKROME srl since May 2017 and Biomedical Components srl since January 2014, and has previously led BioExpanSys srl as Chief Executive Officer from November 2013 to January 2017. Significant experience also includes a role in R&D at the University of Calabria and Ghent University from February 2014 to September 2016, contributing to advanced bioreactor modeling and design projects. Giuseppe's earlier career included significant project leadership in various initiatives while serving as Chief Technical Officer at Laboratori Biomicron s.r.l. from January 2009 to December 2014. Academically, Giuseppe holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering and a degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
