Laine Q.

Laine Q. has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and organizations. They began their career at Illumina as a Senior Quality Control Associate and Functional Laboratory Manager, overseeing laboratory management activities and ensuring compliance with FDA and ISO regulations. Laine then joined Montulli & Associates as a Consultant and Scientist, where they optimized decontamination formulations and managed testing of chemical and biological warfare agents. Following that, Laine worked as an Inventory Systems/Laboratory Management Consultant at Biophase Solutions, where they developed a searchable database and storage system for a cell line library and implemented inventory management strategies. They then became a Laboratory Manager at StemoniX, responsible for day-to-day operations and making improvements to increase productivity and cost efficiency. Laine then moved on to Vyant Bio as a Laboratory Manager and R&D Project Manager, overseeing the relocation of a drug discovery laboratory and providing leadership for a pre-clinical rare diseases project. Currently, Laine holds the position of Operations Manager at Cellics Therapeutics, Inc.

Laine Q. holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Professional Science Masters in Biotechnology from California State University San Marcos, which was obtained in 2013. Prior to that, Laine Q. completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Biology from La Sierra University in 1997. Laine Q. also has additional certifications, including a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Level I from the International Six Sigma Institute™, obtained in January 2023. Laine Q. also holds a Biotechnology Laboratory Technology Certificate from California State University San Marcos, obtained in 2011. Additionally, Laine Q. has a DOT Hazardous Waste Manifest Certification from Eduwhere, obtained in November 2022, and a CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross, obtained in December 2022.
