Malek Al-Sabahi

Malek Al-Sabahi has a background in mechanical engineering and has gained experience in various roles within different companies. In 2018, they worked as a Mechanical Technical at Svenska Retursystem, where they were responsible for ensuring product quality, carrying out 5S and operator maintenance, and documenting production disturbances. In 2019, they joined Mikroverktyg AB as a Computer Numerical Control Mechanical Technical, where they monitored processes and work areas, reduced machine downtime, and performed tool changes and simpler programming. Later in 2019, they joined Husqvarna Group as a Mechanical Engineer, where they focused on finding solutions for quality-related issues, cost reduction of parts, and updating 3D and 2D models in Catia. Currently, since 2021, they have been working at CELLINK as a Mechanical Engineer, ensuring compliance with quality control, improving target times, and supporting team performance.

Malek Al-Sabahi attended Sana'a University from 2009 to 2013 where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Augustana University in South Dakota, USA from 2013 to 2015 and completed a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.
