Deniz Aksel

Manager Of Bioengineering & Lead Bio-algorithm Engineer at Cellino

Deniz Cihat Aksel is currently working as the Manager of Bioengineering & Lead Bio-Algorithm Engineer at Cellino. Prior to this, Deniz was a Senior Bioengineer at Harvard University where Deniz Cihat worked in the Ramanathan Lab studying early embryonic development and the Schier Lab developing image processing tools for developing embryos. Deniz Cihat has also worked as a UROP Student Researcher at MIT in the Synthetic Neurobiology Lab and Timothy Lu Lab, as well as a Summer Intern at Genentech and as a Non-Employee Lab Assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital. Deniz holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biophysics from Harvard University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Engineering from MIT. Deniz Cihat also has a High School/Abitur Diploma from Deutsche Schule Istanbul.
