Gustavo Alonso has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gustavo began their career as a Marketing Manager at CRC Press in 1998, where they managed a team of 3 and implemented marketing strategies. In 1999, they moved on to The flyer as an Account Executive, responsible for continuous growth in revenue and account base, designing advertisements, and training other Account Executives. Gustavo joined Clipper Magazine in 2000 as an Account Executive and later transitioned to MeadWestvaco in 2003. At MeadWestvaco, they held various roles, including Sales Representative for Central America & Caribbean, Sales Manager for Latin America - Mercosur, and eventually became a VP of Business Development for Latin America at CellMark in 2013. Throughout their career, Gustavo has consistently achieved revenue growth, increased market share, and received multiple awards for their outstanding performance.

Gustavo Alonso obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Barry University from 1993 to 1998. Gustavo later pursued an MBA in International Business/Finance from the same university, completing it from 2007 to 2008.
