Sarah Ann Platt has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2007. Sarah Ann worked as a Cheerleading Coach and in the Admissions Office at Nyack College from August 2007 to March 2009 and May 2007 to September 2008, respectively. From September 2008 to October 2013, they worked as a Legal Secretary II/Estates Document Specialist at The Salvation Army. Sarah Ann then joined SUNY New Paltz as a Student-Art Education from January 2013 to May 2015. Sarah was also involved with the New York State Art Teacher's Association, serving as the Pre-Service Teacher Representative on the Board of Trustees from July 2014 to June 2015 and as a Contributors Board Member/Writer for the NYSATA News from July 2014 to June 2015. Sarah Ann briefly worked as an Art Educator at Poughkeepsie High School from September 2015 to December 2015. From February 2016 to December 2017, they worked at The Successful Learning Center as a Teacher/Mentor, providing college-level classes and mentoring services to students with disabilities. Following that, Sarah worked at CellMark, first as an Operations and Logistics Coordinator from February 2018 to September 2022, and then as a Manager - Sales and Operations from September 2022 onwards.

Sarah Ann Platt attended SUNY New Paltz from 2013 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Art Education with a focus on Visual Arts Education. Prior to that, they attended Rockland Community College from 2009 to 2012, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or studied any particular field. Sarah then attended Nyack College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Before attending college, they completed their high school education at Arkport Central School until 2003. In 2016, they completed a course in Introductory Flameworking at the Corning Museum of Glass. Additionally, Sarah obtained a certification in NYS Visual Arts Education (PK-12) in July 2015.
