Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in service assurance and project management within the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as Country Head of Service Assurance at Cellnex Telecom since July 2020, Matthew oversees a team of approximately 50 members, ensuring effective service delivery for a business generating £350 million annually. Previously, Matthew held various significant roles at Arqiva, including Head of PMO - CIP Telecoms, where responsibilities included managing PMO staff and delivering strategic goals. Earlier career positions include Site Share Project Manager at both Vodafone and Siemens, as well as Structural Engineering and Delivery roles at Kvaerner. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Newcastle University.
