Rocio Saavedra

Rocio Saavedra has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Currently, they are the Global Head of IT Business Relations & PMO at Cellnex Telecom since November 2022. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Senior IT Program Manager at Cellnex Telecom from February 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Cellnex Telecom, Rocio held significant positions at Naturgy and its subsidiary Naturgy - Europe. At Naturgy, they served as the Lean Project - Project Director from May 2018 to March 2021, overseeing the global transformation of transactional and support functions. This included managing IT and Comms, Customer Service, Business Processes, and Corporation with a scope covering all businesses and geographies of the Naturgy Group.

Before working at Naturgy, Rocio was an IT Business Partner at Gas Natural Fenosa from October 2012 to May 2016. Prior to that, they gained experience as a SAP Senior Consultant and Project Leader at everis from December 2007 to November 2012. In this role, they managed various SAP projects for Allianz Seguros España, which involved economic management, commercial relationships, resource planning, and project quality assurance. Rocio also worked as an IT Consultant at everis, where they developed data extraction modules for business applications.

Rocio's career started at Telefonica Movistar México, where they worked as a Practicas - Analista de Servicios de Valor Agregado from January 2006 to April 2006. Their responsibilities included testing, documentation, and analysis of value-added services for both corporate and individual customers.

Overall, Rocio Saavedra has demonstrated expertise in IT program management, project leadership, lean transformation, and SAP consultancy throughout their career.

Rocio Saavedra completed an Executive MBA at Esade in 2016, with a focus on Boston Entrepreneurship Lab MIT, Harvard & Boston entrepreneurship ecosystem in the US. In the same year, they also participated in an exchange program at Georgetown University, analyzing multilateral institutions in the context of business-government relations. Rocio further expanded their knowledge and skills by participating in exchange programs at HEC Paris, focusing on organizational transformation and change management, and at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, studying growth and development in emergent markets. Rocio also completed a Digital Disruption Program at IMD in 2017, broadening their understanding of administration and general business management. Prior to these experiences, Rocio Saavedra obtained a postgraduate degree in Finanzas from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2008 and a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México from 2001 to 2006.
