Steven Sims

Steven Sims, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources, spanning from 2006 to the present. Steven currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Cello & Maudru Construction Co., Inc. Steven previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at Alexander Valley Healthcare, where they developed organizational strategies and provided analysis and recommendations to the CEO. Before that, they worked as a Human Resources Director at Ameritech Financial, overseeing compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee relations. Steven also served as a Director and Human Resources Consultant at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Santa Rosa, where they developed and implemented HR functions and policies. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Moana Restaurant Group, managing health benefit programs and HRIS analysis. Steven began their HR career as an Employee Relations Specialist at Maxim Healthcare Services, providing guidance and solutions for HR situations. Steven's early experience includes working as an Employee and Labor Relations Representative at Marin General Hospital, where they handled employee relations issues and investigations.

Steven Sims, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, which they obtained from Sonoma State University between 1998 and 2005. In January 2017, Steven obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
