Anya Derbij

Anna (Anya) Derbij M.D. has worked in the medical field for over 17 years. Anna (Anya) began their career in 2004 as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Transgene. In 2013, they moved to Pharmacyclics, an AbbVie Company, as a Senior Director of Clinical Operations. In 2015, they were promoted to Executive Director of Clinical Operations at AbbVie. In 2018, they moved to Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. as Executive Director and Head of Clinical Operations. In 2019, they held two roles, a Clinical Operations Consultant at a Biotech and Senior Director and Head of Clinical Operations in Ophthalmology at REGENXBIO Inc. In 2021, they were appointed Executive Director and US Head of Clinical Operations at Gyroscope Therapeutics. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Vice President of Clinical Operations at Cellphire Therapeutics, Inc.

Anna (Anya) Derbij M.D. obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU). Anna (Anya) then went on to receive their Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from George Mason University. Lastly, they earned their Master Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University.
