Ali Al-Hamwi

Ali Al-Hamwi has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Ali is currently working as a Professional Services Engineer at Cellusys since October 2021. Prior to this, Ali served as the General Manager of Middle East Electronics Center "MEEC" from June 2018 onwards. MEEC is a hardware company based in Damascus, Syria, involved in electronics products, components, tools, accessories, and 3D printing services.

From November 2018 to May 2021, Ali worked as a Core Network Engineer at MTN SYRIA. During their tenure, they participated in various significant projects, including PS Core in Pool, EPC Cloud Cutover by Huawei, and Mobile Broadband Data Analysis System by Cellusys.

Before joining MTN SYRIA, Ali was the Business Manager at Mobi Store, a company specializing in the sale and wholesale of smartphones and Xiaomi products. Ali co-founded this company with Mr. Ammar Afaghani and worked there from January 2016 to November 2018.

In 2013, Ali co-founded Atadiat, where they worked until December 2015. Atadiat was a company involved in electronic design and manufacturing, with a focus on simplifying the hardware development process. Ali's responsibilities included designing and manufacturing breakout boards and microcontroller applications.

Ali Al-Hamwi attended Damascus University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. In addition, they attended Dar Al-Hikma from 2011 to 2012 and completed their Senior High-School education there. Ali Al-Hamwi also obtained certifications in vUGW (Cloud UGW) Data Configuration training and EPC to Cloud EPC Delta training from Huawei, in July 2019 and June 2019 respectively.
