Aparna Jaiswal

Aparna Jaiswal has been working in the technology industry since 2014. Aparna began their career as a Technical Team Member for ROBOCON (Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union: 2014-15), where they were responsible for the manufacture and design of autonomous and manual robots. In 2015, they were an Integration Testing Intern for Whirlpool of India Ltd., where they operated computer-assisted design software (Eclipse IDE) to perform integration testing/debugging of pre-manufactured product designs and systematized new product inventory based on performance parameters. In 2018, they were a Graduate Student Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo. In this role, they evaluated the performance of Expectation Propagation algorithm over Machine Learning for MIMO Signals and simulated the obtained communication system via SER vs SNR plots for a performance gradient in MATLAB. In 2019, they were a Product Manager, Member Of Technical Staff, Senior Systems QA, and Member Of Technical Staff, Systems QA at Celona. In this role, they proposed optimizations to radio configurations to improve downlink and uplink shared data channel rates, and control channel size, created and executed system test scenarios, and was responsible for comprehensive problem analysis and optimizations for radio performance. Additionally, they supported and interacted with customers for new feature verification, validation, and issues with system performance from the field. In 2019, they were also an Intern at the University at Buffalo, where they conducted experiments on OpenAirInterface (OAI) in POWDER about the throughput achievable by the UE (User Equipment).

Aparna Jaiswal holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University at Buffalo, which they obtained in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from MKSSS Cummins College of Engineering for Women in 2017. Aparna Jaiswal also holds a High School Diploma from St. Mary's School, Pune, which they obtained in 2011. In addition, Aparna Jaiswal has obtained certifications from Udemy and LinkedIn, including Embedded Systems Programming on ARM Cortex-M3/M4 Processor, C++ Digital Signal Processing (DSP) From Ground Up\u2122, and IoT Foundations: Operating Systems Fundamentals. Aparna is also a Certified Professional Installer from Federated Wireless.
