Pavithra Iyer

Pavithra Iyer is a certified project manager with over eight years of experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Celonic Group, Pavithra leads efforts in optimizing AAV production processes. They completed a PhD in Biotechnology at the University of Lausanne, where their doctoral thesis focused on developing a novel approach to cell therapy for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Prior to their current role, Pavithra held a postdoctoral position at ETH Zurich, working on gene therapy and CRISPR-Cas9 techniques. Their early experiences include internships at Erasmus MC and Institut Pasteur, where they gained foundational skills in stem cell therapy and microbiology.
