Maria Majellaro

Maria Majellaro has a diverse work experience in scientific research and professional certifications. Maria co-founded Celtarys Research SL in 2021 and holds the position of Chief Scientific Officer. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CiQUS - Center for Research in Biological Chemistry and Molecular Materials. Prior to that, they pursued their PhD in Medicinal and Medical Biomolecular Sciences at Università degli Studi di Bari from 2014 to 2018. During their PhD, they also had a visiting period as a PhD student at CiQUS from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained professional certifications as a Chemist from Ordine dei Chimici di Bari in 2014 and as a Pharmacist from Ordine dei Farmacisti di Bari in 2014.

Maria Majellaro began their education at Lord Byron, Private School of English from 2000 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in IELTS. Later, they attended Università degli Studi di Bari Facoltà di Farmacia from 2008 to 2014, earning a degree in Laurea Magistrale LM with a focus on Chimica e Tecnologia Farmaceutiche.
