Jacob Vogan

Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) at CB Therapeutics

Jacob Vogan has a diverse work experience in the scientific and research field. Jacob started their career as a Research Associate at the University of California, Davis in 2006 and later moved to the University of California, San Francisco as a Research Associate in 2008. In 2011, they joined the University of California, Berkeley as a Graduate Student Researcher and later became a Post Doctoral Scholar. In 2017, Jacob took on the role of a Bay Area NSF Innovation Corps (I-Corps) at Karnateq. Jacob then founded CB Therapeutics in 2017, where they served as the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). Jacob later joined Y Combinator in 2018 as the Founder and CSO of CB Therapeutics.

Jacob Vogan completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Jacob attended this institution from 2004 to 2008. After acquiring their undergraduate degree, Jacob pursued further studies at the University of California, Berkeley. From 2011 to 2016, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
