Joseph Weiss has had a varied and extensive work experience. In 2018, they began working as a Logistics Planner for Special Operations Command South, where they were responsible for determining requirements and planning logistics support. From 2016-2018, they worked as Network Operations and Telecommunications Manager for Celtic Communications, LLC, where they were a senior network engineer responsible for planning, design, implementation, management, troubleshooting, and maintenance of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and point to point (PTP) connections. From 2009-2012, they worked for the U.S. Army Reserve, where they held various roles, including Battalion S-4, Company Commander, Systems Administrator, and Staff Operations and Training Specialist. In 2015, they became the Owner of General Technology Services, and in 2014, they worked as a Field Service Technician for All-In-One Technology Services. In 2012, they worked as a Training Analyst for the U.S. Army, where they planned, developed, coordinated, and evaluated contractor or government performance with regard to the development of Training Support Packages (TSPs).
Joseph Weiss obtained their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management from American Military University in 2011, after graduating in 2006. Joseph then went on to earn their Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from American Military University in 2014. In 2016, they began their studies at South Florida Bible College and Theological Seminary, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Divinity. Additionally, Weiss has obtained certifications from CompTIA in Security+, A+, and Network+ and is currently working towards a CCNA and CompTIA Server+ certification.
