William MacLean

Process Operator at Celtic Renewables

William started his career in the Royal Navy as a marine engineer. In his time in the Navy William worked on type 23 frigates to minesweepers. Whilst travelling the world he operated and maintained a variety of different equipment in several departments such as Propulsion, fuel transfer systems, sewage treatment plants etc. William was also part of the Ships fire and damage control Team and counter narcotics boarding team, which has given him great experience working safely in fast paced and stressful environments. Since leaving William has serviced and maintained CHP units across Scotland and most recently operated and maintained a logistics platform. In his time there he was a key player in making sure the plant operation met its targets for its customers and client.
