Jaana Ekblom

Jaana Ekblom is an experienced environmental engineer specializing in environmental issues related to waste facilities, contaminated land, water, and sediment areas. Current employment at Cementa AB as Miljöingenjör began in May 2022. Prior roles include Miljöspecialist at Iterio (February 2018 - May 2022) and NCC (January 2017 - January 2018), as well as Miljökonsult at NIRAS Sweden AB (November 2015 - November 2016) and Miljöspecialist at Faveo Projektledning (November 2012 - October 2015). Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in Resource Technology with a focus on Environmental and Water from Luleå University of Technology and studies in environmental science at Stockholm University. A Master thesis, conducted for Golder Associates, focused on the geochemical characterization of enrichment sand and waste rock from the Kringelgruvan graphite mine.
