Volker Janke

Volker Janke has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Volker started their career at Commerzbank AG, where they completed a vocational training program as a Bank Clerk from 1986 to 1988. Volker then worked as a Research Assistant at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, Wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultät from 1995 to 1997.

Starting in 1997, Janke joined Readymix AG as Assistant of the Board of Directors for Finance until 2000, when they became a Business Controller.

In 2000, Janke moved to Rüdersdorfer Zement GmbH, where they initially served as the Head of Controlling before being promoted to the role of Manager of Operations Support & Continuous Improvement at CEMEX Deutschland AG in 2007.

From 2010 to 2015, Janke held the position of Director of Strategic Planning at CEMEX Deutschland AG before returning to the same role in 2016, where they currently remain.

Volker Janke attended the University of Düsseldorf from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Volker completed their education at the university and obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann.
