Ihor Sokolov

Ihor Sokolov is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, quality assurance, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at CEMEX, Ihor leads special projects focused on CO2 reduction mapping. Previously, valuable contributions were made at KHD Humboldt Wedag as QA and HSE Manager, overseeing comprehensive quality programs and project-specific QA/QC plans, as well as managing the Spares and Services Department and significant projects like the Lafarge Exshaw Expansion. Additional roles included Project Manager at PCL Construction and operations management at Kyoto Fuels Corporation, where Ihor managed a biodiesel plant project valued at $40 million. Educational qualifications include a Project Management Engineering course from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Engineering from Kiev Polytechnic University.
