Oscar Hållén

Oscar Hållén has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Oscar currently serves as the CEO of CemVision, focusing on reinventing cement for the modern world. Prior to this, Oscar was the COO & dCEO at CemVision. Oscar has also held positions at Boardie AB and Nära AB as a Board Member.

Oscar spent a significant portion of their career at Klarna, where they held multiple roles, including Vice President, General Counsel, and Domain Lead in various departments. During their tenure at Klarna, Oscar played a crucial role in global market expansion, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

Before working at Klarna, Oscar was an Associate at White & Case LLP and was involved in bank finance matters. Oscar was seconded to Altor Equity Partners where they served as a Legal Counsel.

Early in their career, Oscar worked at Microsoft in the Corporate Affairs department and was a Political Advisor and Speechwriter to the Prime Minister at Regeringskansliet, Statsrådsberedningen. Oscar also worked at Moderaterna as a Press Secretary and Press Assistant.

Oscar Hållén completed their Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree at the University of Chicago Law School from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued another Master of Laws degree specializing in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at Stockholm University. In 2008 and 2009, they engaged in studies in political science and classical rhetoric at Stockholm University. Oscar also obtained certifications such as being admitted to the Bar in the State of New York in 2016 and being an Advokat (Sweden) between April 2017 and December 2017.
