Kim Young-Soo

Dr. KIM received a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pusan National University and a master's degree in Mechanical Eng. From Seoul National University and a doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, Canada in 1995. From 1984 to 2010 (26 years), he was a professor at the Department of Refrigeration Engineering, Pukyong National University. During his tenure, he served as director of the Eco-Friendly Advanced Energy Research Institute. His research has been mainly performed in the field of energy conversion engineering such as freeze-drying systems, hydrogen liquefaction systems, etc. His current research interests include applying Graphene Nano Plates (GNP) technology, Silica Nano Tube (SNT) and Silica Mesoporous Ball (SMB) technology, and Silica-Graphene Convergence Technology from an engineering point of view.
