Hon Chan

Hon Chan currently serves as General Counsel at CenCal Health, a position held since January 2018. Prior to this role, Hon Chan worked as Assistant Chief Counsel at the California Department of Managed Health Care from June 2012 to December 2017 and held the position of Senior Staff Counsel - Supervisor at the Department of Mental Health from September 2008 to May 2012. Earlier in the career, Hon Chan was Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Mercury Companies, Inc. and Fidelity National Financial, and also served as Senior Staff Counsel, Specialist at the California Department of Insurance for over 15 years. Hon Chan earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley.
