John Robinson Msc

John Robinson has over 30 years of experience in quality and regulatory roles in the pharmaceutical industry. John has served as the Vice President of Quality at Cencora since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at AmerisourceBergen for almost 10 years, starting as a Director of Quality & Regulatory and eventually being promoted to Senior Director. Before joining AmerisourceBergen, John held various roles at QM Specials Limited, including GM, Quality Unit Manager, QP, and RP. During their time at Cordis (Johnson & Johnson), they served as the QA Operations Lead, managing a team and overseeing the production of medical devices. John also worked at ALZA Ireland Limited as a QA Supervisor and later as a QC Supervisor, where they were involved in the setup of a new Quality Control Laboratory. John's early career included a role as a Quality Control Supervisor at Schwarz Pharma. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in quality management, regulatory compliance, non-conformance processes, and team leadership.

John Robinson holds a Masters degree from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, which they obtained from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned an MSc in Industrial Pharmacy (QP) from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland from 2007 to 2009. In terms of undergraduate education, John received a BSc in Analytical Science from the University of Woolwich in 1990 and a Diploma in Analytical Science from Limerick Institute of Technology from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, they hold a Certificate in Supervisory Management from the International Management Institute - IMI, which they completed from 1996 to 1998. In 2012, John received training in QMS Lead Quality Auditing from Antaris.
