Juha Sormunen

Juha Sormunen has worked in a variety of positions since 1986. Juha began their career as a Lieutenant in the Finnish Defence Forces in 1986. Juha then went on to complete trainee positions at Oy G.W. Sohlberg Ab in 1988, Scanfil Oyj in 1987, and Neles-Jamesbury Oy in 1989. After completing their thesis work at Planmeca Oy in 1991, they began working at Nokia in 1993 as a Design Engineer, Mechanics. Juha then progressed to Senior Design Engineer, Chief Engineer, Technology Manager, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Project Manager. In 2014, they joined Microsoft as a Project Manager and then moved to Auramarine Ltd in 2018 as an Engineering Manager. Juha is currently employed as a Project Manager at Cencorp Automation Oy.

Juha Sormunen received a Master's Degree in Machine Design from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan in 1991, having started their studies in 1985.
