Alexander Broich has over 20 years of experience in the media and publishing industry. Alexander is currently the President of Cengage Global Businesses & General Manager for English Language Teaching at Cengage. Prior to this, they served as the President International at Pearson Assessments, where they managed a group of organizations in Australia, Singapore, Brazil, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Scandinavia and Spain. Alexander has also been a member of the Supervisory Board ("Beirat") at THIMM - The HIGHPACK GROUP and the Managing Director at BOL.COM (UK), Bertelsmann Online and Health Online GmbH (Bertelsmann/Springer/Burda). During their time at Pearson Assessments, they were responsible for steering strategy and implementation of projects converting the traditional assessment business into the digital age. Under their leadership, the company saw consistent double-digit revenue growth on a global scale. Alexander has also been selected as a member of the Global Leadership Board of Pearson Clinical and Talent Assessment, as well as the Member of Innovation Board.

Alexander Broich studied mathematics and economics at Gymnasium Neubiberg in Munich, Germany. Alexander then went on to study business administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they earned their PHD.

They work with Christine Decker - Director, Sales Talent Development at Cengage, Adam Koussari-Amin - Director, Talent Management, and Ed Conway - Senior Director, Compensation. Their manager is Jeri Herman, Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
