Brenda specializes in substance abuse counseling and has worked with a diverse range of clients including those in the criminal justice system, child protection services, and individuals with co-occurring disorders. Brenda is also involved in advocacy and education, providing support and resources to help clients transition to a healthier lifestyle. Their educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Science in Human Services and a minor in Psychology.

Cenikor Foundation is one of the oldest and most successful substance abuse treatment centers in the nation. Since 1967, Cenikor has expanded to assist more than 1,000 people a week achieve better health and better lives. Cenikor has been committed to helping people deal with chronic addictions, most of that time in the long-term therapeutic community environment. Cenikor provides the full continuum of care, throughout Texas and Louisiana, helping adults at every stage of their recovery, from detoxification, through short-term inpatient care, long-term inpatient programs and outpatient care. Cenikor also provides adolescent short-term inpatient treatment and outpatient services. Cenikor Foundation is a non-profit organization, dedicated to assisting people in developing the skills needed to become responsible citizens free of substance abuse. Fees for services vary.
