Song Zhang

Song Zhang has a diverse work experience in the software engineering and teaching fields. They are currently working as a Software Product and Platform Engineering Manager at Accenture since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at CENIT from 2011 onwards, starting as a Senior Software Application Engineer. In this role, they developed offline programming solutions using Dassault Systèmes V5 infrastructure and built custom robots and numerical control machines. They also created custom post processors and translators for manufacturing process simulation. They also had an internship at CENIT from May 2011 to December 2011. Before CENIT, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Purdue University from September 2010 to January 2011. In this role, they assisted the professor in grading students' assignments and exams, as well as teaching and supervising the Fluid Mechanic Lab.

Song Zhang completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University Northwest between 2009 and 2010. Their undergraduate studies were conducted at Central South University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Thermal Energy and Dynamic Engineering from 2006 to 2009.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Song Zhang has also pursued several certifications. Song obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in March 2023 and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2023. In February 2022, they obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Prior to that, in November 2021, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ II (PSM II) certification from Scrum.org. Song Zhang has also completed the Python for Everybody Specialization course from Coursera in January 2021 and the Agile Software Development course, also from Coursera, in September 2020.

Furthermore, Song Zhang holds a Fundamentals of Engineering/EIT certification from NCEES, obtained in July 2014. Additionally, they have completed a course on Software Development Processes and Methodologies from Coursera, although the specific month and year of completion are not provided.
