Vasileios Kermelis

Vasileios Kermelis has over 15 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. Vasileios began their career as a self-employed freelance IT manager and penetration tester in 2006. In 2018, they worked as a penetration tester for Neurosoft. In 2020, they joined Synack Red Team as a red team member. Since 2019, Vasileios has been working for Cenobe Cyber Security, where they started as a penetration tester and then became the CEO and CTO.

Vasileios Kermelis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Automation from the Technological Institute of Piraeus in 2006. Vasileios then pursued a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Piraeus from 2016 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Kermelis has obtained several certifications in areas such as network security, drone security operations, web application penetration testing, and offensive security. Vasileios holds certifications from institutions such as Pentester Academy, Cisco, DroneSec, eLearnSecurity, and Offensive Security.
