Chad Lillejord

Chad Lillejord, CPA, CMA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in upstream reporting and analysis, currently serving as Manager at Cenovus Energy since October 2012. Chad leads a team responsible for internal and external cost reporting, coordinating accounting policies for acquired companies, and overseeing budget and forecast analysis for the Upstream Accounting teams. Previous roles at Cenovus include Group Lead positions in various financial domains, where Chad successfully managed reporting for significant divestment activities, led cost reduction initiatives, and presented financial results to the Board. Prior to Cenovus, Chad held the Controller position at ENMAX, overseeing a team of 30, and served as a Planning Analyst at Talisman Energy, where contributions included capital governance and joint venture accounting. Chad holds a Bachelor of Management degree in Finance and Accounting from The University of Lethbridge.
