Kerry Margetts

Kerry Margetts currently serves as VP of Canadian Manufacturing and Downstream Technical Services at Cenovus Energy, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Kerry worked as a consultant in the oil and gas sector from December 2020 after a 4.5-year tenure as President of NWR Sturgeon Refinery, where responsibilities also included the role of Chief Operating Officer. With a comprehensive background at Shell from 1991 to 2016, Kerry held various senior positions, including General Manager of the Sarnia Refinery and Chemical Plant and General Manager for Contracting & Procurement. Kerry's career in the industry began at Syncrude Canada Ltd. as a Plant Engineer, and educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University.
