Michael Crothers (P.Eng, ICD.D) serves as a Director at both Cenovus Energy since November 2023 and Keyera Corporation since June 2021. Crothers has a robust background at Shell, holding various senior leadership roles from December 1987 to April 2021, including Vice President of Canada Integrated Gas, Canada President and Country Chair, and Executive Vice President of Oil Sands, Canada. Crothers possesses a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering, with Distinction, from the University of Alberta and has completed the Directors Education Program at the ICD-Rotman in April 2023, followed by obtaining the ICD.D designation in June 2023.
