Nicole Tapper, P.Eng. is an experienced engineer specializing in completions and production within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Completions Engineer at Cenovus Energy since March 2022, Nicole previously held positions at Encana Corporation where responsibilities included leading fracturing communication and optimization efforts in the Montney play, overseeing completion operations for high-pressure wells in the Haynesville shale, and executing multi-stage hydraulic fracturing projects. With a career beginning in 2007, Nicole has also contributed to operations engineering and completions for various companies, demonstrating expertise in production optimization, cost reduction strategies, and project management. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Memorial University, obtained between 1997 and 2002.
