Matthew Fanning has worked in the IT industry since 2011. Their first job was as a Geek Squad Consultation Agent at Best Buy from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Centage as a DevOps Engineer. During their time at Centage, they were promoted to Sr. Manager of Integration Services, where they project managed and assisted the team with integration related projects. Matthew also optimized the implementation of integrations from 3-5 weeks down to 1-3 days, and trained the team on interpreting business requirements and translating them into integration processes. Matthew also developed additional General Ledger/ERP package integrations for Centage. Prior to this role, they were the Integration Manager and IT Specialist at Centage, where they started the Integration team and developed and trained the team on creating integrations for multiple General Ledger/ERP packages. Matthew also provided feedback and coaching to the growing team. Matthew also project managed the roll out of Oracle Data Integrator into production within the Oracle Cloud, and created the process for installing/configuring/maintaining Oracle Data Integrator in customer sites. Before this role, they were a Technical Support Specialist at Centage, where they supported customers directly on product related issues, created KB articles for both internal and external processes, and assisted internal users with Helpdesk related issues. Matthew also assisted with internal server management, including Active Directory Admin, network management, server migrations, and physical movement of IT infrastructure.
Matthew Fanning obtained a Certificate in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from Quinsigamond Community College between 2011 and 2013. In June 2022, they obtained the Sumo Logic Certified Fundamentals certification from Sumo Logic, followed by the Sumo Logic Certified Administration certification in July 2022.
