Laura Kier has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2020. In 2011, they were an Engineering and Research Intern at Sherwood Design Engineers, a Dartmouth Partners in Community Service Intern at Architecture for Humanity, and a Sustainability Office Bike Project Intern at Dartmouth College. In 2012, they were a Summer Associate in the Energy Practice at Navigant. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at Daymark Energy Advisors (formerly La Capra Associates) as an Analyst. In 2016, they joined EnergyHub as a Product & Operations Manager and Senior Associate in the Energy Markets. In 2019, they were an MBA Fellow in the Innovation Team at Indigo. Currently, they are the VP of Growth, Head of Product and Product Manager of Labeling Solutions at Centaur Labs.

Laura Kier obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Dartmouth College in 2012, majoring in Engineering Sciences modified with Environmental Policy. Laura then attended the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in 2013. In 2014, Laura Kier obtained the ISO-NE Wholesale Electricity Markets 101 Training from ISO New England. Laura also obtained the Engineering in Training (EIT) certification from NCEES in April 2013. In 2018, Laura Kier began attending the MIT Sloan School of Management, graduating with a Master of Business Administration - MBA in 2020. Laura also received a Certificate of Completion from the Tuck Business Bridge Program.
