Max Gillett has over 10 years of work experience in software engineering. Max began their career in 2009 as an IT Intern at Massachusetts, where they assisted with a multi-agency rollout of new Windows Vista desktop computers, implemented website change requests through a web content management system, and performed various tasks to reduce IT backlog. In 2010, they worked as a Software Intern at the Federal Communications Commission. In 2011, they worked as a Software Intern at Arcode Corporation, where they refactored code that validated X. 509 certificates by replacing uses of pyOpenSSL with native Python, and wrote shell scripts to automate elements of the build/debug cycle. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at DataXu and as a Software Intern at Murano Technologies. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Gradifi by E*TRADE. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Centaur Labs.
Max Gillett obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University between 2008 and 2012.
