Timothy R. Nese, FHFMA, CPA attended Penn State University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. In addition to their academic achievements, Timothy also holds several additional certifications. In December 2012, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. That same year, in March, they also obtained the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In July 2016, Timothy obtained the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), although this certification is currently inactive. In December 2020, they attained the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) certification, also from the HFMA. Finally, in February 2021, Timothy became a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA). Just recently, in May 2023, they received a Notary Public Commission from The Office of the Texas Secretary of State.
