Nia Watkins, MPH, currently participates in the Executive Immersion (Rotational) Program at Centene Corporation, having previously served as a Health Plan Operations Intern with the same organization. Prior professional experiences include internships at The Alliance for Positive Change and the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance (MiCHWA), providing valuable exposure to community health initiatives. Academic contributions as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan School of Public Health involved working on the EMBRace lab project, which focused on addressing racial stressors and promoting psychological well-being. Other relevant roles include assisting in physiological research on stress effects on aging and conducting studies on child psychology.
