Paul Mulhausen, MD, FACP, AGSF is an experienced physician who has held various leadership and clinical roles throughout their career. Paul is currently the Chief Medical Director at Centene Corporation, where they provide physician leadership. Prior to their current role, Dr. Mulhausen served as the Chief Medical Officer at Telligen, where they provided physician leadership and collaborated with the healthcare community on issues of patient quality and access to care. Paul also served as the Medical Director at Iowa City Hospice and as a Director and Staff Physician at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. In addition, they held various roles at Iowa City Veterans Affairs Medical Center and was an Associate at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Mulhausen's areas of expertise include academic medicine, primary care, geriatrics, and hospice care.
Paul Mulhausen, MD, FACP, AGSF obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology from St. Olaf College from 1978 to 1982. Paul then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine at the University of Minnesota, graduating between 1983 and 1987. Following this, Paul went on to receive their Master of Health Science (M.H.S) degree in Biometry from Duke University School of Medicine, completing their studies from 1990 to 1992. In addition to their educational achievements, they hold certification in the field of Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
