Thomas Beranek is a seasoned pharmacy operations executive with extensive experience in managing large-scale pharmacy operations. Currently serving as the Director of Pharmacy at Centene Corporation since April 2017, Thomas previously held leadership roles at Optum Rx/UnitedHealth Group as Sr. Director of Pharmacy Operations Home Delivery/Specialty, overseeing a $300M budget and a workforce of over 1,100 employees. Prior to this, Thomas was the Site Leader and Director of Pharmacy Operations at Express Scripts, directing $113M in operations and a team of 600 staff. Thomas also served as Senior Manager of Operations at Medco Health Solutions Inc, leading a $100M annual budget and an organization of 350 employees. Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from South Dakota State University.
