Vanessa Herceg

Vanessa Herceg has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in risk adjustment, reporting, and business analytics. Vanessa is currently serving as the Senior Director of Risk Adjustment - Reporting & Business Analytics at Centene Corporation since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Reporting & Business Analytics at Centene Corporation from April 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining Centene Corporation, Vanessa worked at WellCare Health Plans, where they held the position of Senior Manager of Risk Adjustment Programs from August 2018 to April 2020 and Manager of Risk Adjustment Programs from January 2016 to August 2018.

Vanessa also gained experience at Health Integrated, Inc. as the Manager of Technology Analysis from May 2015 to January 2016. In this role, they were responsible for managing and coaching a team of BI developers and gathering requirements for mapping, transformation, and product releases.

Prior to that, Vanessa worked at Healthesystems as the Regulatory Reporting & Analytics Manager from January 2014 to May 2015. In this role, they designed and developed regulatory reports and informatics reports using pharmacy claims data.

Vanessa began their career at WellCare, where they worked as a Senior Business Systems Analyst from January 2012 to January 2014.

Before joining WellCare, Vanessa worked at Quality Health Plans as the Assistant Director of Government Programs from June 2010 to January 2012 and Financial Manager of Government Programs from October 2007 to May 2010. In these roles, they were responsible for developing reports, managing departments, and supporting SEC and CMS reporting.

Vanessa'searliest work experience was at UnitedHealthcare, where they served as an Electronic Eligibility Data Analyst from November 2006 to October 2007.

Vanessa Herceg obtained their Associate's degree in Computer Science from Asian College of Science and Technology during the years 1997 to 1999. Following that, from 1997 to 2001, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the same institution. In 2013, Vanessa pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology Project Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, completing it in the same year. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Business Analytics and Information Systems at the University of South Florida, starting in 2022 and expected to graduate in 2023.
